RidgeBridge Farm is a 38 acre farm located in Avon, Ohio. This locally recognized historic landmark features a bank barn and restored Craftsman foursquare farmhouse built in 1900. The most recognized feature of the farm is the walk bridge connecting the house and barn. The farm's name, "RidgeBridge", is derived from its geographic location (along the old ridgeline of Lake Erie) and its most noted architectural feature (the bridge). For decades, this working farm has been widely known for it's abundant crops of Heirloom Tomatoes, and, since 1992, has been home to champion Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. Though most recognized for our bountiful harvests of heirloom tomatoes, we also grow a wide variety of heritage eggplant, cucumbers, peppers, greens, melons, squash, beans and other vegetables. Each spring, we offer our unique heirloom vegetable starts for sale at farmers markets, plant sales and also directly from our farm in Avon. Our Annual Heirloom Plant Sale has become a much anticipated event throughout Ohio and surrounding states. For the last 18 seasons, we have been a summer destination for shoppers at the North Union Farmer's Market. This year we unfortunately will not be selling at markets. Look for updates on our website mid-July when we will offer our produce directly from the farm (open limited days, so please check before making a trip!)
